Subglacial environment
Up one levelTwo of the traverse projects are aiming at expanding our knowledge of the environment underneath the Antarctic ice sheet. A particular interest is taken in exploring the newly discovered Recovery Lakes, a group of subglacial lakes that will be traversed during the second IPY season (2008-2009).
